These are people who, generations back in prehistory, took on the traits of the animals that would most allow them to survive; the first are thought to have been through rites and rituals, but over time, they became inherited traits past down through familial lines. Nife, is of the Deshret-fanak ('desert fox') lineage.

Physical Details: Shoulder-length black, slightly wavy hair. Slightly feminine facial features, but often stern enough in his expressions for this not to be too noticeable - 'pretty' if encouraged to smile a little more often. Honey-golden eyes, lightly tanned skin, hands, thighs, from the knee down and also on his ears and tail. His feet are like those of his feral counterparts. Carnivorous teeth. 5ft 7''.

Physical Markings: darker brown and grey colouration on his back, trademark dark dorsal stripe and white-tipped tail as well as darker fingertips and toes
