Body Type: Slim, though short and slightly wider at hips; fish tail gives curve around the hips, scales fading into fur just under the belly button.
Physical Details: Straight strands of hair with a glossy sheen, has bangs that frame the face with a right part that occasionally covers her left eye. End at mid-back dry, almost to small of back wet. Blue-green eyes are slightly almond-shaped, bright like an icy blue in regular lighting. Webbing between fingers to the first joint closest to palm, webbing also between toes. Webbing is translucent cream color, sensitive to touch. Olive skin, smooth to touch, no traces of scarring. Slightly sharper fingernails and toes; Scales in aquatic form are fine, small; dolphin caudal fin and two thin pectoral and dorsal fins.
Physical Markings: Olive skin with cream 'cats eye' lines, small glowing freckle-like marks cross the nose, thick, four inch 'bar' directly down spine from nape of neck to small of back, flares out into tapering swirls around back of hips. Cream lines, three on each side around ribs, marking out gills in bi-pedal form. Markings do not line fins, carry over to scales of base tail.
Physical Drawbacks: Breathing in heavy air can be difficult, almost suffocating. Smoke sensitivity, physically weak, agility and movement reduced on land from water (consider her gait a little clumsy, occasional stumbling or tripping)

How do they present themselves: Taisi will tend to want to observe more than talk, though she has a habit of tilting her head a lot and, if something catches her attention, reaching out to want to touch it. One would not call her well-behaved but she does not present much of a fuss initially. She likes to make herself small and keep it that way unless there's an obvious way to escape. Does not speak often enough to know if she's intelligent, but her eyes belie that easily.
Feelings towards being owned / rented: Someoneowning/renting her? Thats a new experience. She would most likely put up some resistance, but her curiosity would probably bring varied results.
Overall Attitude: A quiet observer despite being new to the scene.
Quirks: Head tilting either direction, chirping/trilling noises, slight stumbling when bipedal.

Singing: Taisi has a fairly decent voice, her range starting somewhere in the mid-alto that dabbles by the end in the low soprano. She does not sing unless she is alone or extremely comfortable in her surroundings, and will prefer to hum most of the time.
Sign Language: Its both a skill and language, brought onto herself for the days she wants to speak but doesn't want to use her voice, or for communication when in a tank. Its not a strong point, but she knows how to sign for basic key words and phrases.
Jewelry-making: Despite her difficulties in walking bi-pedal Taisi has rather deft fingers, able to twirl and coil many types of wire. She's also got the knowledge of turning stones and gems into pendant pieces, and has crafted various types of jewelry including bracelets, necklaces, rings and earrings. None of her tools of trade or previous completed works stayed with her. She has a fondness for working with shells.
Organization: Taisi is capable of organizing a messy room by piles of what looks to be in common. She knows how to fold things to make them smaller but has a bad habit of leaving clothing in a messy pile because it looks comfortable to sleep on.
Sewing: She's actually fairly skilled with it, having sewn and woven kelp and seaweed to make various things back home.
Cooking: Poor. Used to eating what she could get, never stepped foot into a kitchen before.
Dancing: Poor. Two-legged activities are hard for a child of the sea, and such things she's definitely not used to.
Basket Weaving: Decent. Knowing how to tie and weave kelp helps with the flexible, pliable reeds that end up washed out to sea.
