Enmity and Remembrance

The end of February marks the first anniversary over The Golden Tether's triumph over the expeditionary Drakorian forces that had invaded their island home and slaughtered and enslaved many of its notable denizens. A brave resistance lead the returning assault, and the bloody start to the year was concluded with triumph over the saurian fiends. In its aftermath, lives were forever changed, trauma fuelling bitter prejudice and fear. As both a memorial to those tempestuous times and hallmark to the establishment's progress, a gathering will be held in the Tether gardens - light-hearted engagement for participants to share stories, consume food, and torment the wyrmme House Slave Sabaoth.

Though not the centerpiece of the gathering, the ex-solider of Drakoria will partake (willingly, as the official word says) in a demonstration of institutionalized humbling, rendered harmless and restrained for the participants' pleasure: vent your frustrations, grieve for loss, maybe chuck your food in scorn at him. Maybe, if you are all lucky, other captive wyrmmes might make an appearance in the grand demoralization of what remains of Drakoria's expeditionary forces.

Anyone looking to relive those dangerous days or expel more violent rage would be directed to the sporting activity set up for competitors: players will be equipped with a bat and blindfold to engage a rogue group of wyrmmes hanging by the neck from the boughs of trees, made of cotton and cloth. These sinister, devious little wyrmmes have been strung up as targets for blindfolded combatants. Perhaps their likenesses bear some familiarity?
Rules of Engagement are simple:
{Players will begin by simultaneously rolling 1d100. An emit will be made to comment upon the results.
After responding posts are made, a second and eventually third round will commence.
The person with a score closest to 300 will have dealt the most amount of damage and be the 'Reigning Champion of the Plushie Siege'}[/quote]
