Einherjar Feast
Posted: Mon Apr 17, 2017 12:24 am
A feast of remembrance hosted by the stalwart Guards Jormun and Trygve.
Einherjar, though a month early, is in remembrance of all the warriors who have fallen and been taken to Valhalla.
At this event, we will remember all those that have been lost to the disasters of the island over the past decade;
however, this is not for mourning. Viking celebrations involve an excess of drinking and eating as a way to honour the dead.
Your are invited to join Guards Jormun and Trygve as they pay their respects with a feast of awesome proportions!
There will be a plethora of smoked and salted beef, pork, lamb and fish, a selection of cheeses and copious amounts of bread.
Cups will be over flowing with crisp and tasty ales and beers, fresh fruit drizzled with honey will be available as the selection of desserts.
On that night, a horse will be sacrificed to please the gods, before being skewered and cooked not unlike a kebab.
What:
A traditional viking feast in remembrance of everyone who has lost their lives on Guildereim.
When:
27th of April, 5PM FST at the *beach.
Or you can request a summon from Jormun or Trygve if you're unable to find us.
Who:
Everyone!
Unowed slaves are welcome to come serve, though they are not permitted to take part in the drinking, unless they are under rental.
We would love for dancers and other entertainers to come and strut their stuff for everyone in attendance.
