A note has been added to the slave's papers, in the handwriting of the Tether's equine handler, Biers

After a short display of penmanship in the cages, I am of the opinion that the slave's talents would be of good use in the library, and am therefore assigning him to various duties under the supervision of our librarians. As such things seem to be enjoyed by the slave, these tasks should be considered as a privilege, which can be revoked at any sign of disobedience.

The note bore the handler's own signature, which was nothing more than a series of loose yet intrinsically drawn letters, which formed his name. More artist than writer, his handwriting was no way near the level that Milo's was.

Milo was rented on 5/8 to Samael Alvah(Forgave) to preen his wings and take care of him.
