How do they present themselves: Quiet, subdued; though when possible, warm, friendly, almost humorous. Towards those of authority, they attempt to remain servile and expressionless.

Feelings towards being owned / rented: They are privately rather displeased, however, this is likely due to their recent enslavement. To all others, they feign acceptance as surely as they can. However, a natural tendency towards being eager to please (and knowing behaving well is rewarded) undermines their negative feelings towards being nothing more than property.
