Winter Market

With winter fast approaching, the weather grows colder. Although Guildereim is likely to never see snow, the weather effects the island in far more ways than just chilly temperatures. Many of the Tether's trade partners reside in locations where winters are a harsh thing. Trade becomes more difficult, in navigating through snow and storms on land, and frozen waters by ship. During the winter, imports to the tropical island are substantially slowed.

In a grand finale before the majority of trade slows down in the Dragonlands, many trading centers and ports are hosting a winter market. On top of the necessary import and export of resources, this is an excellent opportunity for merchants to promote their wares and goods before trade lines become inconvenienced. In a variety of ports and centers, market stalls have been set up, and merchants are encouraged to make use of these to promote their wares.

One such port of interest is the Isle of Eaden, as trade routes between there and the Tether have just recently been established. Merchants from Eaden are encouraged to peddle their wares in the Tether's market, and likewise with Tether merchants being encouraged to sell in Eaden. Each location will have market areas set up for merchants, and each merchant will receive a feature once during the event in each location. While the schedule will be posted during the event, each merchant should contact a staff member for an emit about their feature at least fifteen minutes before their allotted time.
