The Carnival Is Coming to Guildereim!

Come one, come all, to the most fantastic phenomenon to ever grace our illustrious isle! Swoon as you devour delicious delicacies! Laugh at the cantankerous caterwauling of cockamamie clowns! Gasp as you test your skill in our grand gauntlet of galvanizing games! Thrill as you see the dramatic derring-do of death-defying daredevils! Cheer as scintillating shows sizzle the senses!

Yes, good people of Guildereim, the Golden Tether is proud to announce that the CARNIVAL has come to town! For the weekend of July 15, 16, and 17, bring your friends, bring your slaves, and don't forget to bring your gold as you enjoy a bit of much-needed fun and frivolity!

In addition to a change in decor, mood, and music - you'll be cordially invited to take place in all manner of games and shows taking place throughout the weekend! Not to mention, there will be all sorts of special food and drink available for a limited time. What do we have in store for you? Well come on in and take a look!

FRIDAY - We start with a BANG, and that's not a figure of speech! Come on down to the *Beach early in the evening where the most daring of volunteers will enter a specially made cannon bigger than any you've ever seen! Why? Because we're going to shoot them into the ocean and award whomever goes furthest, of course!

Then, later in the evening, we take a moment to reflect. The Carnival sure is a lot of work, and we've noticed a staff member has been a little glum. Please come join us in brightening their weekend! For just a couple s, you can toss a ball at a target. It won't be easy - but after it's been hit the magic amount of times? Our dear staff member will take a refreshing dip in a vat of pink dye - guaranteed to brighten fur, hair, flesh, or even scales!

SATURDAY - First up on the day's agenda? Well, you may be wondering "What's the sound from the arena?" Why, it sounds like the start of a good old fashioned GOOFBRAWL! Costumed combatants will smack each other silly with everything from 'marital aids' to delicious pies! Don't like what someone is using? The audience will be given plenty of choices to hurl at the combatants!

Later, it's time for a good old fashioned game of chance! A certain Gladiator will have delicious treats for one and all, free of charge! Naturally, one or two may have a special surprise waiting inside, but why not impressive your friends with a display of intestinal fortitude and bravery?

SUNDAY - We started with a bang, and we're going to finish with one! The Carnival is rolling out until next time, but not before the skies over Guildereim are lit with fireworks. Dancers, gymnasts, and acrobats will delight your eyes. Exotic dishes and drinks will please your palate. Forget your cares and enjoy yourselves, you deserve it!

Come and test your luck at the infamous Taste Test Roulette! What is it you might ask?
The Taste Test Roulette consists of six players choosing from six innocuous pieces of chocolate or other candy, with one piece considered 'normal'. The other five all have various effects that will drug or otherwise affect the characters devouring them. The one who picks up the normal piece is considered the winner of that round and is asked to step out of the game, and will continue until there is only one player left, who is considered the loser. They will then have to eat a genetically enhanced chili pepper that will increase (or decrease) in spiciness depending on one's tolerance until it's blisteringly, eye wateringly hot as punishment! Fresh milk will be available to drink afterwards.

Each round the players will roll a 1d6. The effects of the numbers are listed below. So long as only one person lands on the normal piece then the drugged pieces can be duplicated. If two people land on the normal piece they will have to roll again to break the tie. If no one lands on the normal piece then the number closest to it will be considered the normal piece. As the rounds go on the number of the roll will decrease until it's left at 1d2 for the final, deciding round.

The Rolls

1. The normal piece. No effect, just deliciousness and dignity.

2. That's-a spicy meatball! This piece is burning hot!

3. This one's been dosed in some good ol' Dirty Mistress! (See the menu for the effects.)

4. Suddenly...you're feeling very, very sleepy.

5. This one's been infused with some potent cannabis, courtesy of the Merchant Campy.

6. You're feeling awfully chatty! And energetic! You could just bounce off the ceiling! Just what was in that one?

Everyone!
Owned slaves must get permission from their owners before hand, and unowned slaves need to get permission from a member of staff.
Only well behaved slaves will be allowed to enter the roulette.

:What:
A bondage inspired game for patron-slave teams. Patrons are invited to dress up their slaves, and let them "race" around a track. The suggested theme is pony play, but creativity is of course encouraged. The track consists of fifteen squares. Every turn, the patron rolls a six-sided die, and their slave moves down the track that many spaces. Whoever crosses the finish line first is crowned the winner. Please RSVP your teams on the RPR event page, or by whispering Biers in game.

Spectators are welcome to come enjoy a cocktail in the sun, and watch the flesh on display! The first round is courtesy of the Tether's very own "pony" handler, Biers
