:When:
April 7th - 5PM FST - Sewers
:What:
Remember why we don't keep baby alligators as pets? When they grow up, they're not cute any more. When they're not cute any more, they get flushed. And when they get flushed, they live on in the sewers and grow. And so the circle of life continues, and soon, the entire sewers are overrun with the things! That's what the Tether is dealing with now. The alligator population in the sewers needs to be culled, and it has fallen onto Biers and a handful of guards to do this. Of course, this means some lucky 'volunteers' from the cages get to do it, armed with their own weapons if they can be trusted, or a rock, if not. On the bright side, it is said that alligator meat is tasty, and if the hunt goes well, there'll be plenty to go around!
:Who:
This event is open for slaves, though patrons are more than happy to come join in the fun, if they consider that sort of thing fun.
:How:
There will be five rounds. At the start of each round, all players roll a d3:
1 - You miss. Possibly, an alligator hurts you!
2 - You catch a small alligator, worth 2 points.
3 - Roll another d3.
For the second d3 roll:
1 - You miss. Possibly, an alligator hurts you!
2 - You catch a medium sized alligator, worth 5 points.
3 - You catch the matriarch or patriarch alligator, worth 10 points.
(Please note, once both matriarch and patriarch have been killed, a roll of 3 will also result in a medium sized alligator, worth 5 points. Be quick to catch them big ones!)
:Rewards:
For Primes's sake! Does every little thing need to be rewarded? How about this: you do good, and we won't beat you! What? Oh, fine, since there's going to be a lot of cheap meat around, slaves who fight well can get some scraps.
Still not enough? Sigh. Okay then, the slave who accumulates the highest tally at the end of the hunt can enjoy a meal of prime alligator cuts with handler Biers, during which he or she may ask questions* of the handler.
